Pricing questions
- How do I subscribe to Lens Pro?
- Click "Subscribe — £4.99/month" on the Pro card. Stripe Checkout opens in a secure tab; pay with card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. Your subscription activates within seconds and your scan quota resets immediately.
- What counts as a scan?
- A scan is a single camera capture submitted to the GeraLens API for recognition. Repeat captures of the same object within 60 seconds count as one scan, so framing the shot twice will not eat your quota.
- Do you offer a free trial of Pro?
- Pro includes a 14-day money-back guarantee — cancel within 14 days for a full refund, no questions asked. After that, cancel any time and you keep Pro until the end of the billing cycle.
- Can I cancel any time?
- Yes. Cancel from your account page or via the unsubscribe link in any billing email. No phone call, no retention script. Subscription continues until the end of the current month.
- What is included in priority routing?
- When the recognised object maps to a Gera service (e.g. plumbing leak → GeraHome, broken appliance → GeraHome, lost item → GeraLens history search), Pro users jump the dispatch queue and receive providers within 30 minutes during business hours.
- What happens if I exceed my monthly scans?
- Free tier: scans pause until the quota resets at the start of the next month. Pro tier: a soft alert at 80 scans, then a single bonus pack at no charge for the first overage month. Repeat overages: we will email you a one-click upgrade to a higher tier when it launches.
- What objects does GeraLens recognise?
- Everyday consumer categories: appliances, household fixtures, food and grocery items, vehicles, plants, common tools, signage, and product labels. Pro users also get business-document recognition (invoices, ID, receipts) and SDK access for custom categories.
- Is there an SDK or API for developers?
- Yes — Lens Pro includes REST + WebSocket SDK access, with TypeScript and Swift bindings. Use it to wire camera-to-service flows into your own app. Docs live at geralens.com/developers.
